“No Fixed Address” began overseas as an underground restaurant, which was recognised by foodrepublic.com - founded in 2010 by chef Marcus Samuelsson, as one of the top 11 underground restaurants in the world!

Going from London to Vancouver, embracing the vibrancy of the multi-cultural cities – Chef Steve created intimate dinners, catered big events such as Michael Buble’s 40th, yet went to the extreme of bringing his food to Hawker markets, while also featuring on Food Network!

Steve and his team won many awards, most notably for their unique canapé creations and intimate multi-course dinner parties. He has a passion for crafting decadent and delicious food, while passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience, to uplift communities.

Having risen to the heights of his profession overseas – he made the choice to return home and embrace Cape Town in 2018, sharing his skills and passion with the locals.

There are no boundaries to the creation of indecently delicious food – hence we bring you… NO FIXED ADDRESS! No one flavour fits all, Chef Steve is passionate about continuing to cultivate his high-end catering experience and his homemade delicious  takeout dinner options, while training and working with communities to benefit the future of South Africa and cultivate its diversity.

Chef Steve will keep pushing the boundaries on decadent, delicious creations – such as our award winning slow braised beef rending curry with aromatic pilaf, crispy sushi rice and fresh basil, our crispy hake taco, chipotle citrus sauce, pickled cabbage and fresh coriander. His reputation for originality and unique flavours is warranted.

To all the budding and accomplished home chefs out there, if you only focus on the latest and greatest culinary techniques and finding the best and most expensive local ingredients, you might forget that, above all, food should be lip smacking delicious, always taste your food, season properly, always have a fresh lemon lying around and if a smidgen more butter or cream or some other indulgence is required, life is too short to settle for mediocre food, just chuck it in.
